Area(s) with issue?
Keyboard Manager
Steps to reproduce
Unsure if this is a bug or feature limitation or a user error.
✔️ Expected Behavior
I want to map: 'Right Alt key+numpad[0]+numpad[1]+numpad[4]+numpad[9]+space' to a key.
❌ Actual Behavior
KM only seems able to handle TWO keys (Right Alt+one numpad key).
Is there a way to achieve this mapping?

Do you want to map a particular key or shortcut to the text "• "? If so, click "Remap a key" or "Remap a shortcut", setup your key or shortcut trigger, select "Send Text" as the action from the drop-down, and then type the bullet point and space characters into the text box, e.g.:
or

No problem! Can I just clarify: do you want to output "• " when you press a particular key combination? For example, when you press Ctrl+B in your text editor, it would output that text?
If so, here's a step-by-step:
- Open PowerToys Settings and go to the Keyboard Manager settings page:
- Select Remap a shortcut:
- Select + Add shortcut remapping:
- Select the Edit button, which looks like a pencil:
- Press the combination of keys you want to trigger the action, e.g. the Ctrl and B keys:
- Select OK and then choose "Send Text" in the Action drop-down:
- Type the text you want to appear in the "Keys" text box, i.e. your bullet point and space:
-
Select OK.
-
Test your shortcut. By default it should work in every application:

Sorry, forgot all about this.
In Step 7, how did you add the bullet point character?
I also don't like having to use a modifier key. I was hoping for a single key solution (such as the unused Pause key) but am forced to choose a modifier key.
I should also have been able to do this with the easier key remap (again using the Pause key) if the code would accept more than 2 keys for a remap. In this case, I need 4 keys, the Alt+0+1+4+9 keys.
Hi @jo99jo. You're really close and I think you've uncovered a real bug in Keyboard Manager, too!
In "Remap a shortcut" or "Remap a key", when you select "Send text" from the drop-down, the box below is where you can type in whatever text you like. To get the bullet point and space, I copied-and-pasted in from another place, such as:
•
What I didn't realise is that typing in the bullet point directly into those text boxes by holding down Alt and typing 0149 doesn't work! I don't know why this is - maybe they limit what can be typed in when they shouldn't. It definitely looks like a bug, so I'll make sure to raise it separately.
In the meantime, you can copy-and-paste the bullet point above, like I did originally. "Remap a key" should work (so you don't need to use a modifier), as long as the shortcut key is one that Keyboard Manager supports. I managed to map my rarely-used Print Screen key to a bullet point just now:
