Hi @Aldebaran94, "È" is in Quick Accent. It is included in the French, Catalan, Dutch, Pinyin, Gàidhlig and Italian sets. Make sure you have at least one of these enabled and that you are holding down Shift while activating Quick Accent.
@PesBandi Hello. I'm still trying, but there's no way. In this screenshot you can see the issues.

Hi @Aldebaran94, could you please send me a screenshot of the character sets you have enabled (Powertoys Settings > Input/Output > Quick Accent > Choose a character set (expand it)?

I found out the solution, without using PowerToys.
Open these windows:
- Settings
- Date/Time Language and region
- Installed keyboards -> Add keyboard.
- Choose the layout: American - International.
- To change the layout from Italian QWERTY to American QWERTY, before entering special characters, press the Windows key combination + space bar.
- Press Alt gr+Shift+E.
This isn't an isolated incident. It used to work well for me, but in the last month or two it stopped working. I'd only see symbol characters, not accented characters.
The fix was very simple though, all I had to do was open up the PowerToy settings, go into Quick Accent and click on the down arrow next to "All available" in the character set section. They were ALREADY all ticked, and I did nothing more than that, but suddenly its working again. A bug where it loses all of the Language Sets (but not the Special sets) until you view that page, for whatever reason.
Hi @downhiller, I suspect that happened after you installed v87.0 I think. The language selection system was completely overhauled in that version which might have caused trouble with loading the settings for some people. Since it was a one time only thing, this shouldn't occur again.
No doubt, but thought I'd report it in case it's something that can be fixed in v87.2/v88.0, as I'm sure I'm not the only person it affected.
In my case, the solution was simple: The error seems to occur only when I enable all or many of the language's special characters. Basically, I disabled all the language-specific accents and kept only French, which solved the problem.
I'm still getting this issue, is there a current blessed workaround? Using the American keyboard layout?
Hi @ossnorry, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulties. Can you make sure that you have at least one of the following character sets enabled in Quick Accent settings: French, Catalan, Dutch, Pinyin, Gàidhlig, or Italian
