Fancyzones changes shortcuts depending on number of programs running making the use of macros difficult.
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Typically is more of an ux issue, not a feature or a bug.
I use fancyzones in all of my workstations mainly to enhance my wide screen experience with Windows.
I extensively use mouse macros to place the windows at the desired places.
I usually place the main window I work on ath the middle of the screen. Whenever I need a second or third application open I place them on both sides of the main window.
If I need just a single application open I don't maximize it when I am working on a widescreen monitor.
In order to have that single app in the middle I use the macro that has to press Windows key + z to open the fancyzones placement window and press 6 as shown in Pic1.
If I have 2 or 3 applications running, the new options for placements go to the top of the list changing the number of placement from 6 to 8 or 9 as shown in Pic2.
What I am forced to do to to be able to use macros and have consistent shortcuts, is to run 3 or more applications I don't need all the time.
Scenario when this would be used?
Consistent shortcuts are a must in order to use macros to place windows using any controlling device. Maybe when adding more options on the menu they should be added at the bottom not top of the list.

I just thought about this, mouse-scroll-wheel -up-down while shift drag, cycling different zone layout would be GREAT.
The screenshot you provided is not FancyZones. That is the native Windows Snap feature in Windows 11. Are you sure you are using FancyZones? /needinfo
Well this is awkward. I was under the false impression that this was part of fancyzones and not a windows feature since I've been using it from the get go. Let's categorize it under the "brainfart" section. I will just use macros of "Windows key + arrow keys" and be done with it. My sincere apologies.
