When you put Awake in this state, can you share the output of powercfg /requests?
hello @dend,
I am currently on 0.86.0 and it's no longer an issue.
But here is the output of your request:
DISPLAY: [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Users\xxx.xxx\AppData\Local\PowerToys\PowerToys.Awake.exe
SYSTEM: [PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Users\xxx.xxx\AppData\Local\PowerToys\PowerToys.Awake.exe
AWAYMODE: None.
EXECUTION: None.
PERFBOOST: None.
ACTIVELOCKSCREEN: None.
Thanks @minoseah629 - looks like Awake is working correctly then. Do keep me posted if this issue resurfaces. I will close the current item for now.
hello, this appears to be happening again.
the thing that changed was my machine updated to: 2024-11 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5046732)

i believe it was running when i did it earlier. but double checking

i turned awake off and on again and got:

Looking at the screens above, doesn't seem like Awake is working at all - it's not listed as a process. I wonder if it crashed. Can you please provide your logs in this issue?

@minoseah629 and that is while Awake seems to be running in PowerToys settings?
@minoseah629 and that is while Awake seems to be running in PowerToys settings?
Correct. That's how I got the zip file to be created from report bug.
As mentioned in #37589 is this related to the PC being put to sleep and reawakened?
I've noticed this behaviour quite a bit.
My /requests seem ok:
DISPLAY:
None.
SYSTEM:
[PROCESS] \Device\HarddiskVolume4\Program Files\PowerToys\PowerToys.Awake.exe
AWAYMODE:
None.
EXECUTION:
None.
PERFBOOST:

Tray icon looks OK too:
However I woke the PC from sleep this morning - did 30 min work, went away for 30 min and came back and it was asleep.
There seems to be an issue where it looks like it is in the correct state but doesn't do anything. If I go to the tray icon and disable then re-enable Awake it seems to work.
