Steps to reproduce
• Clicking the “Launch” button in the Workspaces editor does nothing. • Clicking the desktop shortcut does nothing.

✔️ Expected Behavior
I was expecting Workspaces to launch a saved workspace.
❌ Actual Behavior
Nothing happens. (But Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection Service Executable starts running in Task Manager with “Very high” power usage—I’m not sure if these things are correlated.)

I have the same behavior on Windows 11 build 22631 Bitdefender and another EDR.
Same behavior on Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Build 22631.4169 with release 0.84 and 0.84.1 Processeur AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX with Radeon Graphics 32 Go RAM with Two screens
What happens : on launch (directly from PowerToys) or by a link on my desk, nothing happens.
In the Task Manager, the corresponding (Workspace launcher) task seems to run, but iy's impossible to stop this task.
Only way : restart the computer.
Multiple tries with only a program or combinations up to three programs, using my two screens.

Just an update for anyone experiencing this issue that restarting the expolrer.exe process was good enough to stop the workspaces process from reappearing for me.
The issue is happening to me as well on Windows 11 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.4169).
same here. created a workspace and when triggering it to open apps nothing happens, nothing opens. Windows 10

Created a new workflow that should just open Outlook and the Sticky Notes. Exact same behaviour as before - nothing opens and just spinning wheel until I restart my machine :)

I don't really have time to make a full report myself but I've recently just reverted to Release v0.84.0 because Workspaces worked well enough for my use case (using a ps script to run the desktop shortcuts for 3 workspaces sequentially on 3 different virtual desktops when I login in the morning.) but it seemed with each update to PowerToys workspaces got buggier and buggier to the point where they refused to launch at all on v0.85.1.
