Left clicking system tray icon slow to bring up menu

Microsoft PowerToys version

0.81.0 (issue happens on previous versions also)

Installation method

WinGet

Running as admin

No

Area(s) with issue?

General

Steps to reproduce

My main point of access to PowerToys is via left clicking the system tray icon to bring up the menu.

The left-click menu has quite a large delay. Long enough I often think I have misclicked, so I click again just as it pops up, which makes it go away, so I click again etc etc.

Compare this to right clicking on the system tray icon which is instant.

Please can you look into accelerating the left click menu, as currently it is a very frustrating experience.

✔️ Expected Behavior

Left clicking on PowerToys system tray icon should show a menu instantly

❌ Actual Behavior

Maybe 500ms lag before menu shows

Other Software

No response

@mejobloggs-cw I tested it out, you are right. It's about "quick access". If you click on the icon with left click there is a small delay 250-500 ms, where if you right click (small context menu opens up) and then left click, this open up instantly (perhaps 100ms delay.)

This is due to having to JIT Settings app. in theory this would be solved by a few future roadmap items.

I'm going to dup this against /dup https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/issues/34026 as this will be a more generic bucket we can target
