[Major] [Frequent] Black/white rectangle appearing on desktop upon startup
Microsoft PowerToys version
0.80.1
Installation method
Microsoft Store
Running as admin
None
Area(s) with issue?
ColorPicker
Steps to reproduce
I have set PowerToys to run at startup, and often when I start my PC, a black rectangle appears on the desktop that does not disappear. After some digging, I discovered that the Color Picker is causing this issue. I also pinned it on quick access btw, if that helps. PowerToysReport_2024-05-21-19-31-48.zip

I am also getting this, if I piss Win+Shift+C to activate it, it then disappears. It would be great if this could be fixed. I tried adding Color Picker's EXE to the exclusion list of Fancy Zones, but won't be able to test if it works or not until the next time I log on.
@Iam-Phasma it seems adding PowerToys.ColorPicker.exe to the list of Excluded Apps for Fancy Zones has fixed this issue for me.
@crutkas - Perhaps for the next release, the Excluded Apps list for new installs could be initialised with PowerToys own executable files?
