ImageResizer to Change File Type

Open mojoZHU opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

Description of the new feature / enhancement

When Image Resizer resizes an "heic" photo, it saves it as the same file type. It would be more useful if the user could choose to save it as a jpg file. I use Image Resizer to change a photo's size for emailing other people. For compatibility, it would be better if the file could be changed to a jpg.

Scenario when this would be used?

Wanting to change the format of files when resizing to make it more compatible

Supporting information

Hello and thanks for your message. Sounds like issue #2686 to me. As far as I'm up-to-date on this, it's still out of intention for this app: resizing ≠ converting.
