OK i think i figured out what is happening I thought I was going crazy for a second.
This image i took right after restarting my laptop. As you can see nothing.
I then restarted my laptop again, and as soon as it logged in I tried this, it also doesnt do anything.
but if you close and then re-open PowerToys Run it works with either syntax (space or no space) so it seems like it just doesnt like working at all the first time you try it?
Trying on my desktop PC the same thing seems to happen for me.
Interesting. Could repro now too. Wonder what's happening. So this only happens right after opening PowerToys Run.
Yeah I believe that it has nothing to do with the space or the conversion. I believe that there's a significant delay on loading the plugin(s). @htcfreek idea about that?
I am not sure. But I have something in mind that this is not the first time we get reports about this "delay" bug.
I think the ui is initializing before all plugins are initialize. It might be interesting what happens if some or all other plugins are disabled.

My test: switch all plugins - except Conversion - off, then turn PT Run off and on. My result: it does not make it any faster. Theres's a big delay. (Again, the space is not relevant)
Maybe (something like) #7427 also has an effect...
