Mica for PowerToys Run stops working

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open run a few times for a while or restart PC
  2. Mica disappears

Mica 100% of the time

❌ Actual Behavior

Experienced it too in 0.77.0. Even turning on-off battery saver could mess up with the mica effect (it wont load again).

Hi, I wasn't even aware that energy saving turns off Mica while the application is running. Only RendeingTier verification has been added. It looks like we will need to add a Windows event subscriber that notifies about a change in energy saving status

I think why battery saver could mess up with mica (or acrylic in previous version) is because battery saver turns off transparency effects, which could be causing issue with Powertoys Run's mica
