Promote "Shortcuts window" better

Description of the new feature / enhancement

Hello,

I love this set of tools, it is not obvious to all users that there is a "Shortcut window" when you single click on the tray icon (I always tried double click for example and nothing ever happened)

so I would suggest to feature this feature in the administration and also add it to the right click context menu of the tray icon for example as veracrypt has it: image

If this sounds like a good idea and gets approved I might be able to implement it

Scenario when this would be used?

Users might try double click and right click before they try singleclick+wait and then it is not easily discoverable that "Shortcuts window" exists

I never knew this Shortcuts feature existed before randomly stumbling upon this issue, thank you, I concur.

Also I'm getting: image

With no ability to customize the shortcuts for personal preferences.

I think that's a cool idea to have shortcuts available in the right-click menu.

Seems like a reasonable first issue too!

Ok so right now the menu looks like this: image

so I guess I would add it as first option named "Show Shortcuts" and the horizontal line right under it so it would look similar to this: image

if this proposal is fine with you, I can start implementing it

Sorry for the delayed response, I totally missed this notification!

That sounds great to me. @crutkas do you agree?

I like the 'show'. Another idea is to pivot the right click so it acts more like OneDrive where the context menu is built into the quick launcher. This would force more discoverability.

A primary mouse button double click should launch the PowerToys settings app

I'm seeing primary mouse double-click does launch PT settings already.

I'd love to see the show shortcuts addition in the right-click context menu. I see you've already got a draft PR for it too @pekvasnovsky - awesome!

This has been worked on during the 0.80 release cycle. Please update to the latest release: https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases
