This is not only an issue with Explorer, it seems when Peek is enabled it hijacks ctrl+space across the system. For example I found out this by making ctrl+space not working in Emacs.
True, can confirm, it breaks CTRL + SPACE in other apps also, specificly in Emacs.
It conflicts with IntelliJ IDE too.
Hijacking other things in the system is this issue: #26150 Regarding conflicting multiselection, I don't think we can support the shortcut while still allowing to use the same for multi selecting. You can change the shortcut for Peek in the Settings ,though. Hope this helps /needinfo
Please dont hijack ctrl+space, it's so common for intellisense for tools like vs code
Ctrl + Shift + Space is also used in Visual Studio. Powertoys should not set any default shortcuts that does not involve the windows key.
Interferes with Eclipse IDE and DBVisualizer also.
Disabled Peek in PowerToys settings after tracking the issue down with Spy++ (showed process to be EXPLORER when WM_HOTKEYS were watched).
.70.1 fixes the non-file explorer issue

Closed as completed eh? Good work bot.. I don't see your PR though?
More and more shortcuts I use in Visual Studio are being hijacked by powertoys affecting my productivity. I am forced to consider stop using powertoys.
