I am getting the same thing ever since I learned of this new update. When I try to install via the manual update option it will crash about half way through the install. I however do not get an error message, it just crashes
I have the Exact Error too.
@pbarbosa1969 It seems the old msi needed for uninstall got delete from your machine. Can you try getting the one that's being asked for on that prompt? Here's how you can get it from the old installer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/install#extracting-the-msi-from-the-bundle
I can't find the original "PowerToysSetup-0.68.1-x64.msi" file anywhere. All I see are ZIP and EXE?
Follow the link Jaime provided and it shows how to extract the MSI.
@pbarbosa1969 did the extraction work? /needinfo

Is this still an issue with updating to v0.74? /needinfo
I never had any luck removing it.
@RodgerE1 Can you provide a /bugreport please?
