Hi there!

We need a bit more information to really debug this issue. Can you add a "Report Bug" zip file here? You right click on our system tray icon and just go to report bug. Then drag the zipfile from your desktop onto the GitHub comment box in this issue. Thanks!

Same issue, here is the 'Report bug' zip: PowerToysReport_2023-02-02-12-35-47.zip

Just find out the new version (0.67) from the github release page without ever getting prompted for an update, "check for update" shows "Network error. Please try again later".

I tried the new version; and it has the same problem. But when activating the VPN it is updating image

I'm getting the same issue with v0.67.1, "Network error. Please try again later" I can't seem to get it to update to v0.68. The update has worked fine on my other machines but not on my home machine. PowerToysReport_2023-03-03-09-26-47.zip

Hi @Catfang; To bypass this issue; just activate VPN before updating PowerToys to the latest version

Oddly enough, it worked without issue hours later. I never tried using a VPN (not sure how this would help TBH), but I suspect it's something with the servers hosting the update. Whatever the reason, I'm glad it was able to update correctly now.

Same here, Checking for update results into network error msg, but I received the update anyway and updated to the latest version without any issue.

It's interesting that when I opened Powertoys for the first time after update (v0.68), it showed both the 'Network error. Please try again later' in red and 'Powertoys is up to date' in green together, one below the other.
