Default mode for screen ruler

Description of the new feature / enhancement

I most often use the spacing / + tool when using the screen ruler, it'd be good to be able to select which of the 4 modes I could use by default each time

Scenario when this would be used?

Whenever I use the tool, as a default behaviour.

Agreed on this - using the ctrl 1/2/3/4 helps but I'd like to just hit the short cut and use whatever measure tool I used last. Having to select one everytime is a pain and will probably prevent me from using this tbh.

I did not realize that this was already completed by 24913 and included in 0.70 release. I'll do a quick verification of the functionality then it should be OK to close this one.
