ColorPicker Hotkey don't work and I can't use the software as a result.

Steps to reproduce

  • The hotkey to open color picker is not recognized.
  • This didn't happen in 0.61
  • I tested on 2 separate devices one windows 10 the other windows 11 with no luck.
  • I usually set the hotkey to Windows + Q. I tried Ctrl + Q and Ctrl + Shift + Q and neither of them worked.

I tried to roll back to 0.61 but I can't because I have a newer version installed, and I don't want to lose all my customizations just yet.

✔️ Expected Behavior

ColorPicker to open on pressing the hotkey Windows + Q

❌ Actual Behavior

I have no way to access the color picker I press the hotkey and nothing.

Other Software

Ditto (hotkeys work there perfectly) Snagit (hotkeys work)

Hello Taras! Thank you for getting back.

I managed to solve the issue by manually disabling and enabling all powertoys applications.

I am facing the same problem, shortcut key works only once we install the update but it no longer works after that. I am running power toys as an admin on startup. I switched off all tools, and restarted pc then also it won't show up. The original app by @martinchrzan works very well.

Hi there!

We need a bit more information to really debug this issue. Can you add a "Report Bug" zip file here? You right click on our system tray icon and just go to report bug. Then drag the zipfile from your desktop onto the GitHub comment box in this issue. Thanks!
