Quick Accent
Steps to reproduce
I have the letter a then I press on the right arrow key to activate Quick accents and I wait and wait. Nothing happends

I'm supposed to see the list of accented letters pop up
❌ Actual Behavior
Nothing happens. The delay for the pop up doesn't work. I have it at 200 ms.
Activating it has to be rethought. I'm also wondering if this works with non US keyboards that already have accented letters. It shouldn't make a difference though

Same here. Windows 11 21H2, PowerToys 0.62.1.
I've tried the left arrow key, the right arrow key, and the spacebar, but nothing ever pops up. Tried in both Notepad and an Outlook message.
Same here. Windows 10 Pro 21H2, PowerToys 0.62.1.
Won't work with any of the activation keys.
Side Note: The system language is German.
Having a similar issue - for me the character just gets typed. No menu or anything pops up.
I have the same issue. It simply repeats the letter instead of showing a pop with accents.
I already did and the bug's clised

Still having the same "problem" - (well it dosen't work so i don't use it.)

We need a bit more information to really debug this issue. Can you add a "Report Bug" zip file here? You right click on our system tray icon and just go to report bug. Then drag the zipfile from your desktop onto the GitHub comment box in this issue. Thanks!

I am using Teamviewer to remotely connect from my laptop (1 monitor) to a workstation with 2 monitors. (don't know if that might be at least part of the problem)
I do wonder if Teamviewer is taking over some low-level keyboard hooks. Can you test directly on the device without using Teamviewer and see if the issue persists?
I will test it the next time i am in office and provide an answer to this question.

I am basically in home office 90% of the time...so i don't know when i will be able re-test this in front of the actual workstation but i remember i tested it a few times on the workstation itself (not with the latest version though) - Never gave me a selection prompt for special characters. Once i can test this with the latest version i will post the results in here.
This might be just one more tool that works on other workstations but refuses to work on mine :D.
Just tested something: Quick Accent works fine on my very old, very slow laptop (using the latests version of the powertoys) and the extra characters can also be used in the workstation via teamviewer (using the laptop's powertoys). But: No Powertoys on laptop -> no Quick Accent using the workstation's Powertoys.
As mentioned i will test it in front of the workstation itself, the next time i get a chance to do so.
