Steps to reproduce

I don't actually know, it just happens sometimes.

The most consistent way of this happening for me right now is by:

  1. Opening Color Picker editor (by itself or after choosing a color). Note: you must have at least 3 colors on the sidebar when the editor is open.
  2. Right-click on one of the colors that you haven't selected on the sidebar, then delete it.
  3. Choose then a different color you haven't clicked on yet.
  4. Press on the middle thing of the color band and then click out of it.
  5. Try right-clicking a color on the sidebar again. If this doesn't show the context menu like usual but instead selects the color, you've done it right (Probably a different bug). If not, repeat steps 2-4 again.
  6. Open Powertoys settings
  7. Close the editor
  8. Close the settings
  9. Try to open the Color picker again

If done correctly, the color picker shouldn't open and then after looking in the system tray you should see that Powertoys has closed itself. Again. This is the most consistent way I've got this to happen, so if it doesn't happen to you then try a few more times.

✔️ Expected Behavior

Opening color picker like normal

(Also getting the context menu on the editor when I right-click)

❌ Actual Behavior

Powertoys closes/crashes itself

(The color gets selected instead)

Other Software

No other software
