Visual Studio 2022 Community, Python 3: Continuously Freezes upon Sve and Build Action (Ctrl.-S, "Save All", Ctrl.-F5,...)

Visual Studio 2022, Community (Python), running on a Win 11 notebook (Intel i5), keeps freezing upon file save or build action, even with a small, few lines script file... This is new, it ran without creating problems earlier. Since one of the last updates (not sure which one) it began freezing on a regular basis. (95% of the actions )
