On-premise: what is the 'Label folder URI'

Open tuandunguit opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

Hi,

I ran the tool on desktop, added a connection to local folder pdf files. Everything is fine, however, when i go to Train page, it requires the Label folder URI, what's that? image

Thanks

Hi Tuan,

'Label folder URI' is the URI to the label folder containing your label files. It defines the 'source' parameter for the train custom model API request body.

We're releasing a complete on premise solution in the future, so you can use your local folders. Until then, we recommend placing your label files in Azure blob storage and following the README

We replaced the 'Label folder URI' input title to 'Source' to match the API with #588

So I installed the desktop version, and added a local file system path in my connection settings. I am able to label my files and the labels are saved to the same destination as the local file system path. But when I try to train a new model, I get an error no matter what I write in "Source", be it empty, full path or a subfolder path to the path in my connection. "Cannot access files in '[source]' for training. Please check if specified folder URI is correct." What format should I use for the "Source" URI?
