[Bug - Partner Center] Extension Review failed but no report available
After submitting 2 extensions files for review I got an error in Partner Center > Extension overview page:
The certification for your extension has failed. See review report for details.
Where can I find the review report ?
First extension: Store ID: 0RDCKB2K8XZL Product ID: 4f1be2d7-f478-45bd-ac38-a929af241160
Second extension: Store ID: 0RDCK9TXXJJM Product ID: 005f2b99-43d0-4d33-9671-616016a2ad52
Hi @maximeb97
I am Rahul from the Microsoft Edge Extensions Developer Support team.
I can see that your second extension is now live in the store and successfully completed its review on 29/10/2025.
The first extension, however, did not pass the review. I’ll investigate the reason, reach out to the internal team, and share more details on why it failed.
Hello @Rahul-Bauri , thank you for your time. To give some details on the second extension, it has 2 versions, the first one has been accepted (1.0.2), but the newest version (1.0.3) has a similar error as the first extension
@maximeb97 Ok thank you for the confirmation, will let you know the reason for this fail once I hear from the internal team.
Same #419
same issue, when you navigate to "Properties" tab you will be able to see following error messages "The URL entered appears to be broken or invalid. Verify the URLs and ensure it is reachable."
even though the URLs are completely fine, when accessed from browser.
This same issue happend with chrome extensions few days back and got resolved by support.
Hi @Rahul-Bauri , we submitted our app on Partner Center a few days ago, but it’s showing that the review has failed. However, I don’t see any review report there. Could you please help us understand what the issue might be?
Hi @maximeb97 @mohit-uniyal-dev @david-liznr @AwesomeExtensions
Please try submitting again, as the issue has been fixed by the engineering team. Kindly confirm whether you still encounter the problem or if it is resolved on your end.
@Rahul-Bauri Still not able to publish, as the button is disabled. The URLs are reachable without any issue.
Hi @mohit-uniyal-dev, the team is aware of the URL check issue and is working on a fix. I’ll update you once it has been resolved.
Hi @mohit-uniyal-dev Our team has confirmed that the URL issue is resolved on their end. Could you please try entering your URL again and proceed with publishing? Once done, kindly confirm here if it works. If you still encounter any challenges or errors, let me know.
Hi Rahul,
I am still seeing the issue, whenever I am switching between the tabs/pages the following errors are displayed and the publish button is disabled as well. Let me know in case more information is needed.

Hi @mohit-uniyal-dev I’m no longer able to reproduce the issue on my end. I am successfully able to publish using the provided URL. I would suggest that you refresh the page and try entering the URL again. If the still issue persists, I’ll escalate it to the team for resolution.
Hi @Rahul-Bauri , Its still happening on my end, I have tried hard refresh as well. Yep please esclate it, thank you.
Hi @mohit-uniyal-dev I got feedback from the Engineering team,
This error may be occurring due to a slow network connection. Typically, most URLs respond within one second, it’s possible that your website is taking longer to respond. Could you please try switching to a different network and check again?
hi @Rahul-Bauri, Its fixed now, thank you.
@mohit-uniyal-dev Thanks for the confirmation, will go ahead and close the bug, feel free to open a new bug if you face any other issues in the future.
