vcpkg full integration

At the moment, vcpkg downloads prebuilt libraries for msmpi. It is really one of the very few ports doing this, because the fundamental idea is to build everything on the developer machine. Now that the project is open source, do you think it would ever be possible to ask for an "official" port, made by the msmpi developers themselves, in order to use the best known build configuration?
