Open cityzens2 opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

In the 2022-NOV release, the KB KB5022303 has been listed as a remediation for "Windows Server 2022".

That KB, however, is only applicable for Windows 11 version 22H2: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/january-10-2023-kb5022303-os-build-22621-1105-c45956c6-4ccb-4216-832c-2ec6309c7629

Microsoft Update Catalog: https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB5022303

Below is the remediation listed in 2022-NOV release. Based on the above, products "11923" and "11924" should be removed: { "Description": { "Value": "5022303" }, "URL": "https://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=KB5022303", "Supercedence": "5021255", "ProductID": [ "11923", "11924", "12085", "12086" ], "Type": 2, "DateSpecified": false, "AffectedFiles": [], "RestartRequired": { "Value": "Yes" }, "SubType": "Security Update", "FixedBuild": "10.0.22621.1105" },

Please advise if this is expected behavior or why "11923" and "11924" are tagged for KB5022303.

Thank you.

It seems this is fixed now as the Win 11 KB 5019980 article points to KB 5022303 and the WS 2022 KB 5019081 article points to KB 5022291 for the ODBC known issue.
