(*I am a newbie to the open-source project contribution, so I am not sure whether I can already start translating the docs and make a pull request...)
You can start making pull requests, everyone started from somewhere. I’m sure Jim will be happy to approve them

Both please! I and the other folks involved in this curriculum don't speak Japanese, so if you do both we can get involved in discussions as well.

I would translate it so it makes sense to Japanese speakers and arrange as necessary to achieve this.
