How to reproduce the issue?
- Open https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/surface?at_preview_token=4FhxMZZq5RXQNNpOOuFqCLBpWwq30eLAUx7_sjX2n68&at_preview_index=1_2&at_preview_listed_activities_only=true in Edge.
- Start NVDA.
- Turn off your monitor.
- [Tab] to the ‘Help me choose’ button and open the window.
- [Tab] again.
- Do you hear “main landmark, complementary landmark, dialog keyboard controls”?
What do you expect?
Remove the role of complementary, unless there is a clear reason why this should be used here and/or its benefit. This doesn’t help users build a good mental model of the page regions
