setup_env.py running for 24 hours on a 64G M4 Mac Mini

Open kecaj opened this issue 7 months ago • 9 comments

This step been running for 24 hours:

python setup_env.py -md models/BitNet-b1.58-2B-4T -q i2_s1

How long should this take? How do I know if it's making progress?

Setting DBITNET_ARM_TL1=OFF in setup_env.py does the trick. I'm not sure if this is what you want. My environment is M1 Max.

Setting DBITNET_ARM_TL1=OFF worked for me!
