Bug Description

Open direct link > navigate to container doesn't change path in an open tab with the container. This is a frustrating experience, as the user would have to close all tabs with the given container before opening a link to the same blob container.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a blob container
  2. navigate to some folder
  3. Right click on some child folder, Copy Direct Link (it doesn't matter how you obtain a direct link)
  4. Navigate to some other folder
  5. Now click on File > Open Direct Link > Paste the link in > hit Open (the bug is not specific to this step, any way to open the link behaves the same)
  6. Click on Navigate to Container

Actual Experience

The current tab, with the container stays open where it was. No new tab is opened.

Expected Experience

Either the current tab should navigate to the link, or a new tab should be opened at the given path.

@xixixao Some follow-up questions for clarification:

  • Is the blob container located under a subscription node?
  • When you say "right click", do you mean that you right-clicked a folder and copied its direct link?

@craxal

Is the blob container located under a subscription node?

Yes

When you say "right click", do you mean that you right-clicked a folder and copied its direct link?

Yes, you right click on some folder or in the main view to get the direct link (but it doesn't matter how you obtain a direct link).
