Rough English translation: User is using Azure files and experiencing slow loading despite having a fast internet connection.

@MsamaniegoT First of all, we highly encourage you to upgrade to the latest version of Storage Explorer. 1.19 is very old.

Also, just to be clear, you are trying to upload files, correct? Most internet providers provide fast download speeds compared to upload speeds. What is your regular upload speed?

Hello, good afternoon, The version I currently have is 1.32.1 of Azure Storage Explorer. I have a dedicated speed of 200Mb upload and download.

Captura I am transferring 5 folders with 30,314 files, with a total size of 3.27 GB

@MsamaniegoT assuming you are 100% sure you are using 1.32.1, then please go to Settings (gear on the left), then the Transfers section, and then look for the settings in the below screenshot:

image

For each of those, please make sure:

  • You have no restriction on maximum transfer rate
  • Your network concurency is set to "Based on number of CPU Cores" or "Adjust dynamically" (I would recommend "Adjust dynamically")
  • You have no restriction on file concurrency
  • You have no restriction on buffer size

If you end up making changes to any of those, you will have to cancel and restart any in progress transfers/start a new transfer before seeing any changes.

If all of those are already set to their recommended values, then please let us know.

image Good morning, I have all the parameters default. Now I am trying to do the same but in AzCopy by connection string and I see that the transfer rate is also low. image

@MsamaniegoT hmmmm at this point I am not sure how to further troubleshoot this situation. I think the best next step would be for you to open an issue with the AzCopy team and get their expert help on this: https://github.com/Azure/azure-storage-azcopy/issues

Closing due to lack of activity (both here and with the AzCopy team as suggested). This issue will no longer be monitored. If you need further help, we recommend opening a support ticket via the Azure portal. Alternatively you can open a new issue here.
