Succeed to rename/move one file in a SAS attached file share with permissions 'Read, List, Delete'

Storage Explorer Version: 1.29.0-dev Build Number: 20230327.1 Branch: main Platform/OS: Windows 10/Linux Ubuntu 22.04/MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 (Apple M1 Pro) Architecture: ia32/x64 How Found: From running test cases Regression From: Not a regression

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Expand one storage account -> File Shares.
  2. Create a file share -> Upload a file.
  3. SAS attach the file share with permissions 'Read, List, Delete'.
  4. Switch to the attached file share -> Right click the file.
  5. Click 'Rename...' -> Input a valid name -> Click 'Rename'.
  6. Check whether fails to rename the file.

Expected Experience

Fail to rename the file.

Actual Experience

Succeed to rename the file.

Additional Context

  1. This issue also reproduces in one SAS attached file share with permissions 'Read, List, Write'.
  2. This issue also reproduces when the SAS URL is created by access policy.
  3. This issue does not reproduce for one ADLS Gen2 blob container.

I am unable to reproduce this error on the current build of main. If in testing this is persisting, please let me know.

Hi @richardMSFT Verified this issue on the build main 20230412.1. Reproduce. So, we are going to re-open it.
