Storage Explorer Version: 1.26.0-dev Build Number: 20220919.1 Branch: main Platform/OS: Windows 10/Linux Ubuntu 22.04/MacOS Monterey 12.5.1 (Apple M1 Pro) Reproduce Languages: All languages Architecture: ia32/x64 How Found: From running test cases Regression From: Not a regression

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Storage Explorer -> Open 'Settings' -> 'Application -> Regional Settings'.
  2. Select 'Français' -> Restart Storage Explorer.
  3. Expand one storage account -> Tables.
  4. Create a table -> Add an entity.
  5. Right click the entity -> The context menu displays.
  6. Check whether the string 'Duplicate...' is localized.

Expected Experience

The string 'Duplicate...' is localized.

Actual Experience

The string 'Duplicate...' is not localized. image

Verified this issue on the build main/20221027.6, the string 'Duplicate...' has been localized. There is no '...' next to the localized string 'Duplicate...' on Spanish/ZH-CN. image

This appears to be resolved, so I will close.

Verified this issue on the build 20240506.3. There is still no '...' next to the localized string 'Duplicate...' on Spanish/ZH-CN. So, we will reopen it and verify it on the newer build. image

We will likely need to add a comment and have the translators make sure they keep the ellipsis.

Update: Verified this issue on the main build 20240717.2. Fixed on ZH-CN. image

It still reproduces on Spanish image
