Problem Description
Test Environment: URL: https://adaptivecards.io/ OS Version: 22H2(OS Build 25247.1000) Browser Version: Version 110.0.1543.0 (Official build) dev (64-bit) Screen Reader: Narrator
Repro Steps:
- Open above URL with valid credential.
- Turn on the Narrator using ‘ctrl+win+enter’ key.
- Navigate to 'Designer' link and press enter key to activate it.
- Navigate to 'Hide Card Structure' button and press enter key and observe the issue.
Actual Result: Screen Reader does not convey the change of state while user is activating the ‘Hide Card Structure’ or ‘Show Card Structure’ button.
Expected Result: Screen Reader should convey the change of state to the user for the ‘Hide Card Structure’ or ‘Show Card Structure’ button. It should announce as 'Hide Care Structure button collapsed' when user activate the 'Hide Card Structure' button and 'Show card structure button expanded' when user activates the 'Show card structure' button.
Note:
- Same issue is observe with 'Element Properties', 'Card Payload Editor' and 'Sample Data Editor'.
- Same issue is repro with NVDA.
User Experience: It will impact the screen reader user if the screen reader does not convey the message to the user.
