save and open map problem
First of all many compliments to professor Nigel Gilbert for his precious work. It is difficult to find such interesting projects here.
my problem is that when I save the map on local disk and reload it, through the toolbar functions, the nodes appear smaller without and the edges without the modified settings, as if it were at a basic level.
since loading the examples loads the maps correctly, I guess there is a problem in the saving phase.
has anyone solved this problem? thanks! andy
Hi,
Could you send me a link to the map (i.e. what is ‘XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX’ in https://prsm.uk/prsm.html?room=XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX) and/or the saved file?
Thank you,
Nigel

thank you very much Nigel i will wait as long as it takes andrea
Sorry it has taken so long (the bug was difficult to find), but I believe it is now fixed. However, you'll need to refresh your map, as follows:
- Open the map file in the current version (now updated to version 2.3.4)
- You will see the nodes are still without margins (i.e. smaller than you expected). Click on the
Sharebutton in the top Nav bar. - Click on
Copy to clipboard - Paste the copied web link into your browser's address bar and hit return.
- Click the
Leavebutton in the 'Leave site' dialog (may be worded differently depending on your browser) - The map will reappear, but the nodes will have regained their margins, i.e. got bigger again.
- Save the map as a .prsm file.
- When you open this newly saved file, the nodes will stay larger, as they should.
thanks Prof Nigel, it seems to work I point out that if I change the type of link for example to "triangle" when saving and reloading the change is lost we are very close though andrea
Thank you for pointing this out. It is corrected in the latest version.
