Need more info: Did you clear Maps data? Logcat Did you grant microG location permissions? Screenshots of microG self-check? How did you install microG?

  1. Yes
  2. Idk how to see that
  3. Yes
  4. Literally everything except this: https://pasteboard.co/ItXGIH3.png
  5. I push the app into /system/priv-app/, along with the Google Play

When I first installed the app it loaded the map the whole my phone screen, then when I move around it didn't load the map again

You can see that you're getting a blank map because Google Maps can't pull location info - the locator icon with the ? in the center tells you that. Have you read through the installation here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/microg-unofficial-installer-t3432360 Just be careful if you try the installer out as it's only designed for custom ROMs and will delete files (sometimes necessary location providers) and change permissions that will cause things to fail in stock ROMs.

Since you didn't use a microG installer, did you update your priv-app-permissions.xml file? Are you using a stock or custom ROM? You could have a conflicting location provider. Also, what do you mean you pushed Google Play? microG replaces Google Play services. You can't have both together. Also, logcat will help you find what's wrong. Just install the "Logcat Reader" app on your device (com.dp.logcatapp) - it's quick and easy. Then, try searching for "maps" and "location" after starting Google maps.

For me, signing out of the Google account did the trick for this issue.

Maybe related to #996 . Same problem here (maps v 11.149.0101; microG 0.2.27.223616; LineageOS v.21-20241019-nightly-sargo), but I never logged into any google account, so could not solve it as suggested.
