confirm new apps not working
Hello,
When I tried to use "confirm new apps option", the apps can't register themself, this is logical. But no confirmation request is displayed, or the applications list don't populate, I don't know how this is supposed to work.
Best regards.
I started having this issue after upgrading to Oreo from Nougat, even with the same version of mictoG. Some apps will actually crash now rather than just not register if they are denied. Logcat: java.lang.SecurityException: Not allowed to bind service Intent {act=com.google.android.c2dm.intent.REGISTER pkg-com.google.android.gms }

I don't have registration problems, just the fonctionality "confirm new apps" that not working.
Same issue here, no confirmations are received after switching on Confirm new apps
and apps stay unregistered.
v0.2.11.202414
This should be fixed as of 26f2e859b8d424f20f42f3c2ec3736817f39b6e2
Describe the bug If I enable "Receive push notifications" in the "Google Cloud Messaging" Menu and also enable "Confirm new apps", new apps will just be automatically registered without asking me first. I can however disallow the apps to register after the fact.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to 'Google Cloud Messaging' in the MicroG settings
- Enable "Receive push notifications"
- Apps will automatically register
- Go to "Advanced" and enable "Confirm new apps"
- New apps which now try to register will do so without asking
Expected behavior A promt of some kind should ask me everytime an app tries to register.
System Android Version: 9 Custom ROM: LineageOS4MicroG 16.1 MicroG version: 0.2.13.203915 Additional context I do not know if it worked before as I haven't been using the feature until now.
No confirmation appears, apps are just registered automatically. MicroG 0.2.14 on lineageos-microG build.

Please retest with version v0.2.23.214816
@ale5000-git MicroG Service Core 0.2.24.214816 just enabled for first time on lineageos-microG build and app confirmations are appearing as expected. I have allowed one, and denied three, and on MicroG Setting page it shows 1 registered app under Cloud Messaging.
