Can't send and receive SMS.

Describe the bug Can't send and receive SMS. Tried from LOS default SMS app(Messaging) and 5 other messaging apps(QUIK, Pulse etc.).

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install LOS with MicroG
2. Send a message - it will provide a message in screenshot.
3. Receive a message - Doesn't receive anything.

Expected behavior ITt should receive and send SMS without problem. I can test the SIM on other LOS and it works

microG microG Core version: 0.3.7.40226-84022614 microG Self-Check results: All ticked except the permission to find accounts on the device, which can't be set.

Additional context Sometimes TG and WA messages and calls are delayed.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the default SMS app of LOS use microG at all. Can you please try to uninstall microG and use the SMS app to see if it works?

If it still doesn't work even without microG, the bug is likely in LineageOS and not in microG.

If the version of LineageOS you have is an official one you should follow the instructions here: https://wiki.lineageos.org/how-to/bugreport/ If it is unofficial you should report to the maintainer of your ROM.

But it works in the same LOS with opengapps. How can we determine if this is microg? Is there any indication?

In your initial message you stated:

So do you mean you installed the FORK of LOS located at lineage.microg.org?

Or do you mean that you installed LOS, and then installed microG on that installation?

If the latter, how did you install?

lineage.microg.org is not designed for using Gapps.

If it requires Gapps to send text messages you may actually be sending RCS messages, not SMS. (But AFAIK LOS does not support RCS natively either, perhaps if Gapps is installed after the ROM install)
