Huawei P60 support

Open alknvl opened this issue 1 year ago • 8 comments

MicroG services work perfectly on Huawei P60 PRO, but when trying to install them on my P60, there are issues with signature spoofing. Is it possible to add support for Huawei P60? Thank you! photo_2024-01-04_17-35-53

Signature spoofing is used by microG (not provided by microG), so asking it here will not give any result.

The base microG use the standard signature spoofing system that most custom ROMs have. The "hw" version of microG use Huawei differentiated signature (it is provided by Huawei itself) that is only available in new Huawei devices (it need new EMUI versions). The "lh" version of microG use a sort of hack that is available in many Huawei devices, but Huawei can potentially disable it at any time.

there are 2 devices. P60 Pro and P60. Both devices are new and both have the same OS version. Why is signature substitution available on the P60 Pro, but not on the P60?

Look at this link: https://consumer.huawei.com/my/community/details/2023-12-21-updated-FAQ-of-microG-Service-and-microG-Companion/topicId_166413/

Apparently the main requirement is the software version of the phone: Only the following version numbers (Soft version) support the use of microG:XX.X.X.XXX (C636XXXXXX)

Only phones for Malaysia are supported there. Microg also runs on the global version of the P60 Pro for the Russian market. This has already been tested, but does not work on the P60. This has already been tested many times on the region C10Exxxxx P60 Pro Microg works fine and there is a signature substitution, the same region P60 signature substitution does not work. Why is it so exclusive to this model? 30134662
