When trying to login with your google account on a native app you get the error The GmsClient: unable to connect to service: com.google.android.gms.auth.api.signin.service.START on com.google.android.gms

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install 9gag
  2. Login with google account

Expected behavior Should login with the configured google account

Screenshots Hard to make a screenshot since you see a screen flashing for a few ms

System Android Version: 11 Custom ROM: Lineage 18.1 microG (guacamole)

Could you sign in to this app before upgrading to v0.2.23?

I have the same issue on 0.2.24.214816 (trying to log into Webtoons app with google account, which is unfortunate as their non-social login has been broken for 4 years but they don't care as everyone uses social sign-in) If logs would help I can add some, but it's that same com.google.android.gms.auth.api.signin.service.START they're complaining about

It should work with the latest code (not released yet); for those that want to try there is the official nightly build.
