[1.12.2] Tool with Destabilized Haunted 1 dropping itself on death

Observed: While mining with a mattock with destabilized Haunting 1 it spawned a mob that was the tool and it attacked me. I killed it with a techguns weapon and it dropped the tetra tool that spawned it giving me two identical copies of the tool.

Expected: no drops from the mob, certainly not the tool itself.

Reproduction: Unsure. Haunting has only occured once. Playing Serious Engineering v1.61.

Not sure how to deal with this, I've marked the item that the vex holds as not droppable. Does the techgun weapons do anything to increase drops?

Yo, I see this is pretty old but I thought since the author didn't respond, I'd comment here anyway

Currently, they're dropping their weapons, like described above. Seems to be any kinda've of weapon (killing it with any kind), like a normal sword, tetra weapon, modernwarfare gun, etc.

they also seem to have randomized durability
