Compile on Le Potato (Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS) x11 error

Since the Raspberry Pi is impossible to get at MSRP I picked up a Le Potato Libre Computer with hopes of running attract mode. I started with their barely functional Retropie Image. I got that working more or less. I cant for the life of me figure out how to compile Attract Mode. I get an x11 error when trying to run Attract.
