(Windows) Failed to set DirectInput device axis mode: 1

I believe this has to do with the version of SFML used in compiling because I am able to run 2.2.1-win64 successfully.

https://github.com/SFML/SFML/pull/1634 Are you able to use this before compiling the next windows version.

Thanks for trying to resolve the issue. It doesn't work, but gives a more meaningful output:

Failed to set DirectInput device axis mode to absolute for device "Arcade Stick (Street Fighter IV FightStick)": 1

This is repeated.

I think you should report it here SFML/SFML#1634 , or on the SFML forum https://en.sfml-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=25361.0

I posted at the forum. The joystick in question gets reported as xbox 360 for the driver, but in reality it has no real analog joystick(s).

Still getting the same error...I was hoping someone else would have experienced this issue with more of a will to learn how to repair.

This error comes from SFML, so unfortunately we have no control over it.

Any chance it could be compiled with an older version of SFML?
