[bug] Git not working

Description of the bug

Not able to login to Github.

Step by step instructions to reproduce the bug

• Used demo site for testing.
• Entered full url to my repo.
• Entered username and password.

Can you replicate that error from the demo?

Yes

Observed behavior

I am receiving error: Authentication required.

Expected behavior

I expect to be logged in as normally all is working with my git account and repository. I also don't have MFA enabled.
