Why not allow users to perform a keyword search against the api then iterate through each of the results
@newpIDC Can you more specific as to the functionality you are looking for. What do you mean by keyword, and what api call are you talking about. Gitrob is not using the api directly it is using a library that wraps specific parts, mostly all, of the api. What you are talking about may not be possible from a technical perspective but I have not looked deep enough into this as I have not required this feature myself.
The quick and dirty way to do this is to just create a regex for the given keyword. It will get ugly fast if you are looking for a lot of different keywords, but in the short term, this may be your best bet. Feel free to open a feature request in the fork. With further details of your requested functionality.
