Double dock background in Gnome 41 (Fedora)
Additional rectangle rendered behind the dock after installation on Fedora.
Seems to be the same problem as #1436, although there is insufficient information there to confirm.
System info:
D2D Version: 71 Gnome: 41 Theme: Dracula WM: Wayland Distro: Fedora 35 Workstation Kernel: 5.15.8
I am also getting similar issue!
System Info:
Gnome: 41
WM: Wayland
Theme: WhiteSur-gtk-theme
Distro: Manjaro 21.2.0
Kernel: 5.15.7-1
I think the problem is the theme used in Shell, when I switch to 'WhiteSur Dark', they fit perfectly. But when I use my pattern, 'Zorin Gray Dark', it gets this rectangle. I wanted to know if it's possible to put a fixed theme in Dash to Dock, and leave the WhiteSur Dark one
It is not a problem with this extension, the issue is with the Blur my shell extension it breaks dash to dock!
I have the issue without "Blur my shell" and "User Themes" extensions.
Gnome: 41.2
WM: Wayland
Theme: Adwaita
Distro: Arch
UPDATE:
In my case second background was coming from modified /usr/share/gnome-shell/gnome-shell-theme.gresource
, so reinstalling gnome-shell resolved issue for me =)
Updating my gtk theme and disabling dash blur in blur-my-shell fixed the issue for me. Regardless, apparent incompatibility between D2D & BMS should be addressed.
Same here
Gnome: 41.3 WM: Wayland Theme: Catppuccin Distro: Fedora
Currently, my only remedy is to force sharp corners, but that is barely a panacea
