Cannot open PyInstaller archive from executable

I get an error message "Cannot open PyInstaller archive from executable (D:\Build 2024\yt-dlp.exe) or external archive (D:\Build 2024\yt-dlp.pkg)" and no videos (or slides, but I think that's because they're not available yet / at all) download. The manual download link for yt-dlp leads to a blocked web site. Found this related thread https://github.com/hasherezade/pe_to_shellcode/issues/32 but I'm not a developer so not sure how to proceed?

I cannot address issues with yt-dlp; if the link is unavailable, and you are also unable to grab a release from github through the regular page, perhaps there is a problem/blockage on your end? https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/releases

No worries - the Github link above worked and didn't generate the error in the script, so videos downloading now. Here's what I get when I go to https://yt-dl.org/. image

Try to see if you can fetch the one that is stored in this repo. It might not always be the most current.
