It would be nice to set a particular directory to be scanned and viewed as the library. This would enable the following features:

  • show books as a list
  • show books as previews/thumbnails
  • show books currently being read.
  • show favorite books.

I'll do my best to work on this feature and push it.

This is not something I'm interested in and there are few roadblocks: ebook metadata is extorted in very hacky way. Proper epub engine is needed before making library.

I currently plan to focus on things stated in readme but if anyone is interested in making this I won't have objections to merging it into master.

@iamthinkking Assuming you haven't stumbled across it yet, Calibre is free, open source & might be relevant to your interests.
