It seems that even referencing of external files doesn't work anymore, as the [previous issue](https://github.com/michal-h21/make4ht/issues/113) produces runtime errors. Both Hyperref and Xr received updates, so there are some regressions.

I still hope I will get it to work. I already fixed the error that I mentioned in my previous message. I will just need to find some more time...

You can try to use [this work-in-progress style](https://github.com/wg030/biblatex-iso690_2021). The new ISO version is unfortunately quite complex, so it is pretty hard to support automatic bibliography formatting.
