to automatically connect to TS of server (in user TS on inbuild in mod)

So, some embedded mode, which may be enabled via module (to specify TS location). After game start embedded TS (in addon dll) will connect to server automatically. Will be very usefull for public servers.

Is it possible for TS to be embedded? Is there any licensing we'd have to worry about? From what I understand, mumble would be able to serve the same purpose. I know Project Reality makes use of Mumble which gets launched when the BF2 gets launched.

Mumble is an option but since there is currently a TS addon, it is probably easier to continue with TS as the base. Obviously a fully integrated solution would be ideal, without requiring "external" apps like TS is currently.

Yes, we could use TS library, I'll check license. It will not easily to rewrite plugin for Mumble, and not sure 100% possible currently.

"For more information or to discuss our flexible licensing options for our SDK integrated solution please contact us." From http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=teamspeak3sdk Assuming this is the correct thing.

Teamspeak SDK clients can only connect to SDK Servers not official Servers.

@dedmen yes, will probably use JVON :)

Do we still want this? I can do it but. Im really not sure if we want this.

I believe we wanted to look at this to make public play even easier without requiring opening ts and finding the correct server to join.

I think the most this would improve is people not knowing how to install the plugin correctly. This is certainly possible but the SDK server is limited to 32 slots. Though i have quite some experience with hacking around with Teamspeak. I can make the SDK connect to normal Teamspeak servers. But I'm not sure we want to use a hacked SDK. Teamspeak might not like that.

@michail-nikolaev contacted TS company for licensing, and they replied with a "nope", IIRC
