Voice Activation Detection while using Push-To-Talk issues

Open michail-nikolaev opened this issue 10 years ago • 7 comments

Edit: I self-hosted a server just now and tested out the radios. Here's what I found:

After I have talked through a radio TS automatically goes into voice activation-mode. It stays in voice-activation mode until I press my regular push-to-talk button.

I haven't been able to test it on any other server, but I'll make sure to do it sometime in the future and report back here.

Seems to be happening on every server using TFAR.

ust for the record, if anyone else has the same problem in the future:

I was able to resolve this issue by disabling the "Voice Activation Detection while using Push-To-Talk" option in Teamspeak.

Wasn't this resolved at some point in time? There is code in the plugin to handle this. https://github.com/michail-nikolaev/task-force-arma-3-radio/blob/master/ts/src/plugin.cpp#L374-L407 https://github.com/michail-nikolaev/task-force-arma-3-radio/blob/master/ts/src/plugin.cpp#L1287-L1305

Didn't you make changes to the voice activation detection?

Sorry to necro this post but a member of my community started to have this exact issue. We are on 0.9.8, it forces him to voice-activation until his PTT is activated.

Still having this issue. Being told I'm hot mic-ing when I'm sure I'm not pressing the PTT button. Alt-tabbing to Teamspeak stops it or pressing the PTT button stops it.
