[Feature ] A reset button to clear buffers?

Open muziker opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

I'm unsure how the reverb is implemented, but can there be a button that resets the internal buffers or fdn to a workable level? I've fed into the inputs a signal that causes the plugin to stop working. The daw has to be restarted to get the reverb working again.

Tell me more about what kind of signal causes this, and which specific plugin exhibits the problem. Is this in a DAW session with other plugins, or have you isolated it to only one of the dragonfly plugins?

I was playing around in reaper with the mda delay plugin with a feedback of 1.0. Eventually the feedback got high enough the reverb plugin locked up, and stopped allowing any audio through. IIRC it's either the plate or hall reverb. It isn't particular to this reverb though, since plugins and filter plugins generally can exhibit this same behaviour, but i thought a nice reset button would get rid of those NaNs or inf.
