Dymo Margins / Print Offset - Possible Regression

Open altercation opened this issue 4 months ago • 0 comments

System state

  • lprint installed on a raspberry pi via snap, lprint --version == 1.3.2
  • printing on usb-attached tspl printers successful and no issues (i.e. system working well)
  • printing on usb-attached dymo printers (330 turbo and 450 turbo) show margin shift regression to same issue as this PR evidently addressed

Issue Summary

Printing to USB attached Dymo 330 turbo and Dymo 450 turbo both demonstrate margin shifts to the left/up (see attached image). This issue is present on both units with different label sizes tested. Regardless of label size and type, unwanted offset is consistent.

Further tests

Also tested running the 450 turbo using the standard 450 (non turbo) driver (same results, offset). My next test would be to compile lprint from current git repo but before I continue down this rabbit hole I thought it best to file an issue against current release.
